Please meet your Speech Pathologist, Emma Heinrich

Emma grew up in the Albury area and obtained her degree in Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University in 2002. Over the past 20 years she has worked across a range of clinical caseloads in a variety of settings including: community health, private practice, disability services, educational facilities, acute inpatient care, and community rehabilitation.

Emma is a certified practicing speech pathologist (CPSP) and member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is committed to maintaining best practice standards and seeks to attend courses, training days and webinars to continue to develop her knowledge base.

Emma enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and providing clients with education to self manage their conditions/disabilities, guidance to enhance communication abilities and recommendations to swallow safely.

Emma is caring and compassionate with a focus on person centred practice, holistic care models and working alongside clients and their families/carers to achieve the skills necessary for participation in daily life. Her favourite things about being a speech pathologist are supporting clients to achieve their goals and using the word ‘moist’ whenever possible.
